We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor for our Elizabeth Facility. Production Supervisors report directly to the plant manager.

Responsibilities:


• Address problems immediately as they arise instead of waiting for direction.
• Take initiative to learn new conditions and how to prepare subordinates to adapt to change, such as the implementation of new software or acquisition of new customers.

• Understand how the effects of labor, energy, and material usage affect a company financially.
• Ensure actions of subordinates and yourself are in line with company standards.
• Organize data on plant functioning as well as employee attendance and performance.
• Be able to handle personnel issues such as shift changes and overtime pay.
• Develop the depth of subordinates by allowing them to handle more progressive tasks and allowing them to grow professionally.
• Communicate to subordinates a change in job expectations in a professional yet friendly manner.
• Train subordinates on OSHA and safety requirements.
Qualifications:

Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• High level knowledge of machinery and production systems.

Preferred Skills/Attributes
• AS degree is preferred.
• Blow or Injection Mold experience is a plus.
• Understanding of a union environment is preferred.
• A drive to strive for continuous improvement.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities:

Job Summary:
The Blow Mold Machine Operator will operate blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyor systems. They will also be responsible to troubleshoot process problems and perform minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of production line. In addition to that, they are responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.

Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
* 
Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
* 
Operate blow-mold machines (including wheels, reciprocating or shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottles and perform audits, weights and quality checks.
* 
Adhere to quality control and to blow mold process procedure.
* 
Troubleshoot and perform minor repair on blow-mold and support equipment.
* 
Make adjustments to meet product specifications.
* 
Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines.
* 
Assist with preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin and other mechanical changes.
* 
Grind excess bottle and material.
* 
Troubleshoot and resolve process problems.
* 
Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs.
* 
Train blow-mold employees.
* 
Prepare &amp; document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies and other.
* 
Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
