Responsibilities:
Description:
The Technical Support Administrator is responsible for deploying and supporting technical systems and providing solutions to all levels of users.
The position hours are 11:00am-8:00pm.
Job Purpose:
Maintains computing environment by providing on-site hardware and software system support; identifying system improvements; upgrading, installing, and configuring systems; monitoring system performance.
* Work directly with end-users to identify, investigate and resolve technical issues.
* Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
* Coordinate and implement software upgrades.
* Improve system performance through tuning and configuring systems.
* Improve systems by conferring with vendors and services; testing, evaluating, and installing new software.
* Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.
* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Qualifications:
Skills & Knowledge:
* 4 year Bachelor's Degree
* Minimum 5 years experience within discipline
* Windows 7 (Microsoft certification is encouraged)
* Hardware support (A+ certification is encouraged)
* Windows Server
* Experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
* Knowledge of TCP/IP networks.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.
* Self-starter.
* Work effectively and independently on multiple complex activities and projects.
