We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Engineering and Development Center in Atlanta, GA. Electrical Engineers report directly to the Director of Plant Engineering.

Responsibilities:

* Keep precise records of details of projects in an easily accessible format, and understand the importance of how to organize documentation for long-term retention

* Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time
* Promptness and accuracy is required

* Ability to adapt to changing conditions or requirements in the middle of an assignment while providing the most excellent final product
* Able to adapt to and lead change
* Use innovation, creativity and knowledge of the engineering and plastic manufacturing fields to develop new techniques related to process, manufacturing and utility systems
* Project Management skills
* Ability to develop scopes of work, equipment specifications, bid packages and create bid summaries
* Technical support either onsite or remotely
* Must be a leader that listens, learns and inquires appropriate questions to increase knowledge
Qualifications:
Requirements
* Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET)
* Must have a minimum of 2 plus years' experience in electrical engineering and field troubleshooting
* Must be experienced with PLC programming and VFD configurations
* Willingness to travel up to 50% and occasionally on weekends
* Ability to read, understand, design, and implement blueprints, logic drawings and electrical schematics
* Knowledge of Allen-Bradley control systems
* AutoCad drafting experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Preferred Skills/Attributes
* Knowledge of Uniloy, Bekum, Liberty and wheel Blow Mold Machines is a plus
* Knowledge of 480v power distribution equipment is a plus
* Instrumentation controls troubleshooting
* Knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus
